Hello to my dear lovely friends and instructor,

Many people believe that external factors have a significant impact on our lives. What exactly are these factors? We can consider our place of birth, the country we live in, our level of education, the government, and how others treat us, among other examples. Do I truly believe these factors have a real impact on my life?

To be honest, yes, I believe they do. As long as I believe these factors have a big impact on my life, they will indeed have an impact. Since I can remember, I have always believed that external factors play a significant role. For instance, I used to strongly believe that my place of residence dictated my opportunities. When I lived in Afghanistan, I thought I couldn’t accomplish anything until I moved to the USA. Later, when I moved to Pakistan, I held onto the belief that I needed to be in the USA to succeed, leading to a low income and salary.

However, Mr. Abasmanesh, our teacher, taught us how to address this issue by replacing these beliefs with ones that acknowledge these factors as beyond our control. As long as they are beyond our control, they do not have an impact on our lives unless we believe they do. This is a point I need to ingrain in my mind, even though it may take time and effort, and my mind may resist. But if I want to regain the power I once had, I must change these beliefs.

External factors do not determine the course of my life. Whether it’s my economic situation, relationships, or other aspects, they are not dictated by external forces. What truly impacts my life are my beliefs, which I need to work on. For example, thinking that my back pain is due to being unlucky or not having enough money is a belief I need to change. By taking control of how I treat myself, my body, and my beliefs about them, as well as adopting proper exercise habits, I can reclaim that power.

Secondly, one of the most powerful beliefs we know about is that in every situation, we can make money, no matter how bad things may seem. For instance, right now I’m in Pakistan and I may think that without proper documents, I’m not capable of making money in this situation. However, this belief is incorrect. Even in such challenging situations, there are opportunities to earn. A significant example is Mr. Honda, as mentioned by Mr. Abasmanesh, our teacher, during his experience fighting in Korea. Despite the chaos of bombs and pills, Honda collected unexploded motors and repurposed them into bicycles, eventually becoming one of the most successful car manufacturers.

From this example, it’s clear that even in difficult circumstances, there are opportunities to thrive. While I may feel limited and restricted at the moment, there are still many opportunities available. For instance, my father has supported me financially, and I have a responsibility not to disappoint him. Instead of using his money impulsively, I should strive to make the most of it by pursuing positive avenues. In every situation, there are opportunities to improve my circumstances and gain valuable experiences, albeit it may require patience and effort.

Now is the time to change my mindset and start taking steps to earn money. One idea I’ve considered is seeking employment or apprenticeship with electricians to gain experience, with the eventual goal of starting my own business and achieving financial success
